What You Can Customize

Every subsystem of the printer is configurable. Choose the components and features that differentiate your brand in your target market.

Enclosure & Frame

Full enclosure customization from concept to production. Options include color-matched sheet metal panels (RAL color system or Pantone matching), laser-engraved or silk-screened logos on front/side/top panels, custom material selection (powder-coated steel, anodized aluminum, acrylic windows, tinted polycarbonate), branded front bezel and touchscreen frame, and ambient LED lighting with your brand color. All enclosure tooling owned by you after project completion.

Extruder & Hotend

Choice of direct drive or Bowden extrusion system. All-metal hotend (up to 300-degree-C for engineering materials) or PTFE-lined (up to 260-degree-C for standard materials). Single or dual extruder configuration. High-flow hotend options (CHT nozzle, volcano-style) for speed-focused models. Custom toolhead PCB with integrated part cooling, nozzle camera mount, and accelerometer for input shaping. Hardened steel nozzle for abrasive filaments.

Electronics & Controller

32-bit ARM (STM32F103/F407) or 64-bit controller board selection. TMC stepper driver choice: TMC2209 (silent, UART), TMC2226 (silent, higher current), or TMC5160 (high-power, SPI with sensorless homing). Connectivity options: Wi-Fi 2.4/5GHz, Ethernet RJ45, USB-C data. Regional power supply (110-120V or 220-240V, 50/60Hz) with appropriate plug type. Touchscreen display: 3.5-inch, 4.3-inch, 5-inch, or 7-inch options. Custom controller board with your branding and pinout.

Build Platform

Build volume customization within the mechanical limits of the frame architecture. Build surface options: smooth PEI spring steel (single or double-sided), textured PEI, carborundum glass, or polycarbonate flex plate. Heated bed power configurable (200W-750W) for different max temperatures (100-120-degree-C). Bed leveling: inductive probe, BLTouch/CR Touch, strain gauge, or manual. Magnetic or clip-based build plate attachment.

Branding & Identity

Every customer-facing surface carries your brand, not ours. Branding package includes: front panel logo (laser-engraved, silk-screened, or metal badge), side panel brand name/graphic, branded boot screen and UI theme, custom start-up sound, branded packaging with full-color print, branded quick-start guide and user manual (multi-language), branded SD card/USB drive label, and branded accessory box. Color Matching & Surface Finishes

Your brand has a specific color palette. We match it precisely across all printer surfaces using industrial color systems and provide physical finish samples for approval before production.

Color Systems

We match to RAL Classic, RAL Design, Pantone C/U, and custom formulations. Powder coating for metal panels: matte, satin, semi-gloss, and textured finishes available. Anodizing for aluminum parts in natural, black, and custom colors. Injection-molded plastic parts in any color with color chip approval. Color consistency verified with spectrophotometer across production batches within Delta E less than or equal to 1.5.

Finish Options

Powder coat: smooth matte, fine texture, coarse texture, hammer tone, metallic. Anodized: clear, brushed + clear, sandblasted + colored, hard coat. Plastic: matte, gloss, soft-touch, metallic flake. Decals and overlays: die-cut vinyl, screen-printed polycarbonate, domed resin badges, metal nameplates with etched/painted lettering. Physical finish sample cards provided for approval.

Branding Techniques

Laser engraving: precise, permanent marking on metal and coated surfaces. Silk screening: multi-color printing on panels with Pantone-matched inks. UV digital printing: full-color, photo-quality graphics on flat surfaces. Pad printing: for small logos on irregular surfaces. Embossed/debossed logos in molded plastic parts. OEM Process

From Brief to Production: The 5-Phase Process

Our structured OEM process keeps your project on schedule and on budget. A dedicated project manager guides you through each phase with clear deliverables, timelines, and approval gates.

Phase 1: Specification

Typically 1-2 weeks

You provide: brand guidelines, target market, feature priorities, target retail price point, and target certifications. We translate this into a Technical Specification Document (TSD) with: complete bill of materials (BOM) listing every component and its supplier, preliminary 3D renders of the customized enclosure, firmware customization scope, estimated unit cost at target volumes, and project timeline with milestones.

Phase 2: Engineering Sample

Typical 4-6 weeks

We build 3-5 fully functional prototype units incorporating all agreed customizations. These are production-intent samples — not rough prototypes. Each sample ships to you for evaluation. Deliverables include: physical samples with all customizations, print quality test results (Benchy, dimensional accuracy, overhang, bridging), firmware with your branded boot screen and UI, packaging mockup, and sample review checklist.

Phase 3: Certification

Dependent on scope

We manage the compliance scope with accredited third-party laboratories. What we hold already is on file — CE (LVD) and RoHS reports on file — and what a market needs beyond that (US radio authorization, retail safety listing, Korea/India/South Africa/UK-style conformity) is tested per project, with lab submission, test monitoring, failure remediation, and documentation handled by us. Reports are issued to the company that applies.

Phase 4: Pilot Production

Typical 2-3 weeks

50-100 unit pilot production run on the actual production line with production tooling, production workers, and full QC process. This is the final validation before mass production. Deliverables: pilot run QC report (yield rate, defect categories, corrective actions), production BOM locked with supplier lead times, finalized packaging with production-quality printing, final firmware build signed and checksum-verified.

Phase 5: Mass Production

Per purchase order

Full production runs per your purchase order volume, produced across the assembly cell groups. Standard QC includes 100% power-on and print test on the burn-in line, cosmetic inspection per the order checklist, and pre-shipment inspection with a detailed report. Ongoing engineering support continues through component changes and next-generation development.

Quality Assurance

Quality Control for Custom Builds

Customized products require customized quality control. Our QC process adapts to your specific configuration, ensuring that every custom component — from the colored enclosure panel to the branded firmware build — meets specification.

Custom QC Checklist

Every OEM variant has its own QC checklist, derived from the technical specification document. This includes all standard checks (motion system, heated bed, extrusion, safety) plus customization-specific checks: color match verification (Delta E less than or equal to 1.5 vs. approved sample), logo position measurement (within 0.5mm of specification), firmware build verification (checksum match, boot screen content, UI theme), packaging content verification (all branded items present per BOM), and certification label placement and legibility.

Sample Approval Process

Before each production run, we ship you a golden sample — a production-line unit that represents the exact specification for the entire run. You review and sign off on: enclosure color and finish, logo placement and quality, firmware branding (boot screen, UI, slicer profiles), packaging quality, print quality from the production-line burn-in test, and all accessories and documentation. Production does not begin until you approve the golden sample in writing.

Certification Management

Credential Portfolio

On record today: CE (LVD) conformity — EN 62368-1, report on file — and RoHS (EU 2015/863) — report on file, both third-party verifiable by number. Not on record, and not claimed: US radio authorization, retail safety listing, and Korea/India/South Africa/UK-style conformity marks. Each is tested through an accredited lab when your destination market needs it.

Variant Certification

When a verified base platform is customized, the compliance file needs an assessment, not an assumption. We check which changes matter (enclosure color typically does not; power supply or wireless module changes do), run what is needed through the lab, and update the file before the first shipment — with the timeline quoted up front.

Documentation Package

The compliance file for your order: copies of the on-record reports, any new test reports from the project's lab run, the Declaration of Conformity with your company details, labeling artwork files, and user manual safety sections in the required languages. Everything is maintained with the product lifecycle — no version left behind.
